English Trip Proved Successful

Playing for the Future’s Thomas McStravick recently spent a week in England visiting and coaching in professional clubs on a study visit. Thomas completed a coaching session at Morcambe F.C with their u18’s which was set-up for him to do his final UEFA B Licence assessment. We are pleased to announce that Thomas successfully passed his final assessment which was a Phase of Play working on Defending, Marking and Covering linking units together to create an effective defensive team shape.

Thomas also attended the Leeds United v West Ham fixture, spent a day at Everton F.C (Pictured Above) study visit and reserve team fixture, Blackburn Rovers Academy study visit, Morcambe F.C coaching and the Blackburn Rovers v Sunderland fixture.

Thomas said;

“Special thanks must go to Everton F.C’s Andy Sas who arranged the whole trip and made me feel very welcome. Ian Jones and Dickie Danson of Morcambe F.C must also get a mention for arranging the coaching session at the club.”
