After School Performance Club Launched I New Exciting Project

Playing for the Future Academy & Greenisland FC are delighted to bring a new and innovative project which will KO on Tuesday 25th May 2021.

Mark Sweeney, Head of Youth Phase at Greenisland FC is delighted with this new collaboration;

“Purposeful practice and outcomes based training has always been our mantra at Greenisland FC. Our boys will enjoy this opportunity to continue their learning from the excellent coaches from Playing for the Future and UUJ Sports Science.”

The new project will see the players taking part in football & other activities aimed to improve the long term athletic development of the individual. The football sessions will focus on technical and tactical coaching linked to the Playing for the Future Academy Curriculum.

Ryan Prentice, Belfast Academy Head Coach, is delighted with the news;

“This is another positive step for us to be partnering with one of NI’s leading clubs for young players. Greenisland have a great reputation for developing and nurturing young players and we hope that through this programme we can support player development by providing quality coaching in an enjoyable and challenging environment.”
