THE CRAIGAVON CUP

Monday 5th of May 2014 seen us host the biggest youth football event for u7-u12 age groups in Northern Ireland with an official attendance of 2,243. The event was named after the late Jimmy Jones. Jimmy is the all-time leading goal scorer in Irish League History having played most notably at Belfast Celtic and Glenavon.

 

Jimmy scored a record 646 career goals and once scored an incredible 74 goals in one season.

The Jimmy Jones Memorial Craigavon Cup 2015 was another huge success with English giants Leeds United participating in the event.
